On August 1, Chicago Connectory member Shared-Use Mobility Center (SUMC) hosted their Summer in Chicago Open House event at the Chicago Connectory. Attendees were invited to come learn about the latest developments in the Chicagoland area from panel speakers. SUMC Executive Director, Sharon Feigon kicked off the night by sharing new updates and introducing the speakers of the night.

Kevin O’Malley and Isaac Reichman shared what is next for scooters in the city, as the pilot is currently running in Chicago. The floor was open for questions, and many were curious if the range of scooters will be expanded to more areas within Chicago. Next, John Criezis spoke about what Via is currently working on and how their goal is to become an eco-friendly mobility service. The night continued with great discussion and networking as speakers and attendees shared ideas.
