On August 14, Bosch Senior IoT Cloud Consultant, David Castillo, hosted a Tech Talk for the Chicago Connectory community to learn about the opportunities that Serverless IoT possesses.

David began the session by explaining how Serverless IoT is a cost-effective solution compared to traditional server-based architecture. “Serverless is perfect for IoT solutions,” stated David. Serverless IoT is a way for IoT businesses to manage IoT devices without having to build everything from scratch, as compared to using a server. This is extremely important because it allows developers to run an application or code without having to maintain server infrastructure, thus saving time and money.
