According to Gartner, 65% of application development will be in low-code by 2024. This same trend is accelerating in IoT as well. We will look at why this is happening, what are the advantages and limitations of low-code, and what are the challenges specifically for IoT. We will also describe the distributed low-code IoT development software Prescient Devices has been developing and how it is used in edge computing and industrial automation applications.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Andy Wang is a technologist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience. He is the founder and CEO of Prescient Devices, which focuses on building the next-generation low-code IoT application development software. Prior to Prescient Devices, he co-founded GTI IoT Technology, where he pioneered a cloud-driven wireless communication protocol for low-power IoT sensors. Andy graduated with a Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
